Scope of Terms
These International Trade Terms apply to all purchases made on Heron-shop from any country outside of Mexico. By placing an order on our website, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Responsibility for Taxes, Duties, and Other Charges
All international purchases made on Heron-shop are subject to import taxes, customs duties, and other local charges in the destination country. These charges are not included in the product price or the shipping cost shown on our website.
The buyer is responsible for understanding and covering any applicable taxes, duties, or additional charges once the package arrives in their country.
Import Taxes: Import taxes vary by country. The buyer is responsible for paying any taxes or duties associated with importing the product.
Customs Duties: Depending on the type and value of the product, the buyer may be subject to customs duties.
Other Charges: In addition to taxes and duties, there may be extra fees for customs clearance, handling, or other administrative costs imposed by authorities or shipping companies in the destination country.
Applicable Incoterms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all international shipments will be made under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms, also known as DAP (Delivered at Place).
This means the buyer is responsible for all additional import-related costs, including customs duties and taxes.
If the buyer fails to pay these costs upon delivery, the package may be held at customs or returned to the seller. In such cases, the buyer remains responsible for all shipping charges and any additional fees incurred.
International Shipping Policies
Shipping Times: Delivery times vary depending on the destination country and customs regulations. Heron-shop is not responsible for delays caused by customs procedures.
Tracking Information: We provide tracking numbers for all international shipments, but the availability of tracking updates may depend on the carrier and customs policies in the destination country.
Refunds and Returns
If a package is returned to the sender due to unpaid taxes or duties, or if the buyer refuses to accept the package, additional shipping and handling fees will apply. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
The buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs for the following reasons: color exchange, size exchange, model exchange, or refund. (We strongly recommend that you resolve any questions regarding the product before placing your order.)
